Hobbies: Reading, writing, talking about reading and writing, mountain biking....oh, and blogging, of course.

Why did you get involved with Shelby Farms Park? My college internship at Ducks Unlimited brought me physically to the park and mentally to the mission of conservation. The great potential of Shelby Farms Park to change Memphis kept me here.

What's your favorite place in the Park? I like the Wolf River Trails. Lucius Burch Natural Area, and Pine Lake. I enjoy falling off my bike in the WRT, walking in the Natural Area, reading by the lake and cooing at the buffalo.

Other than Shelby Farms, what's your favorite place in Memphis and why? Midtown! I love the sense of community and unique character of my Cooper-Young neighborhood.

Shelby Farms Park is going to transform our city by bringing us together in ways we've never imagined.
